Why We Created These Walks
These walks grew from my own experience of returning to walking in midlife and discovering how much easier it felt when shared with other women.
After attending several of Faye's menopause walks through Move Mindset, I could see the value they offered. Not just the movement itself, but the conversations, connection and sense of community they created. Inspired by Faye's work, I wanted to help bring something similar to women in my local area.
Together, we started our monthly Saturday Menopause Walk in Bracknell, giving women a regular opportunity to walk, talk and connect outdoors.
Since then, the walks have grown. We've introduced weekday walks across Bracknell, Wokingham and Crowthorne too, giving women more opportunities to join us.
What To Expect
A comfortable pace
No rushing and no pressure to keep up.
Friendly conversation
Chat as much or as little as you'd like.
Come on your own
Many women come on their own. You'll be made welcome, whether you feel like chatting or simply enjoying the walk.
Fresh air and woodland paths
A chance to step away from everyday demands for a while.
Perimenopause counts too
You don't need to be in menopause to join us. Women in perimenopause are very welcome too.
More Than Just a Walk
Sometimes support looks like a conversation on a woodland path.

Not at all. These aren't fitness walks or hikes. We walk at a comfortable pace, with no pressure to keep up with a particular speed. Our routes are mainly along woodland paths, so if you have any concerns about the terrain, please get in touch beforehand.
-
Numbers vary from walk to walk. We deliberately keep our Menopause Walk groups fairly small, so there's plenty of opportunity to chat without feeling lost in a crowd.

All our Menopause Walks cost £4 per walk, whether you join us on a weekday or for our monthly Saturday walk.
Your first walk is free, so you can come along and see what you think. There's no membership or commitment, you simply pay for the walks you attend.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please let us know in advance if you'd like to bring one, as we'd like to be mindful of the rest of the group. Dogs should be comfortable walking with a group of people and may encounter other dogs while out on the route.

We walk in most weather - as you may have already discovered, a bit of rain doesn't stop us. If conditions mean it's unsafe or impractical to walk, we'll let you know and share updates on this page and on social media.
