Hi, I’m Sarah, and welcome to Mindful & Me, a reflective wellbeing space for women navigating midlife.

Through blogs, newsletters and personal reflections, I write from lived experience about the quiet complexities of midlife, sharing practical support around perimenopause, walking, seasonal living and slowing down, often inspired by nature and real life.

I share thoughtful reflections on midlife, life transitions and the small practices that help us navigate change with a little more ease.

I’m a woman in my early fifties, a mum to a teenage daughter, and someone who has learned more from the messy parts of life than I ever expected.

I’ve always been drawn to nature, walking, yoga and quieter ways of moving through the world. But it was navigating my own midlife shifts, especially perimenopause and a late self-diagnosis of ADHD, that deepened my understanding of what genuinely supports me.

What began as a personal blog has gradually grown into a space for conversation, connection and community through writing, newsletters and shared walks.

Whether you've found your way here through perimenopause, a love of walking, an interest in seasonal living, or simply a desire to slow down a little, I'm glad you're here.

What you’ll find here

You'll find reflections on midlife, perimenopause, walking and slowing down, alongside seasonal living, creativity and everyday moments that help life feel a little more manageable.

A little more about me

Mindful & Me grew out of that ongoing exploration. It isn't a place for quick fixes or rigid advice, but a space for thoughtful reflection and honest conversation about how life changes, and what can help us navigate it.

I don’t have everything figured out, and I never will. What I can offer is a companionable voice, shared experience, and a practical perspective shaped by navigating midlife, perimenopause, and everyday life as it unfolds.

Writing has become a way for me to make sense of these changes, not to fix or optimise, but to notice, reflect, and understand what helps. This space isn’t built on expertise or perfection, but on lived experience..

On Instagram

Some of what I share lives here on the blog, and some of it finds its way onto Instagram as it happens.

You’ll often find me sharing more of everyday life over there too.
