Hi, I’m Sarah, and welcome to Mindful & Me, a reflective wellbeing space for women navigating midlife.
I write from lived experience about the quiet complexities of this stage of life, sharing gentle, practical support around perimenopause, seasonal living, and slowing down, often inspired by nature and real life.
I share thoughtful reflections on hormonal changes and life transitions, with the aim of helping women feel supported and seen.
I’m a woman in my early fifties, a mum to a teenage daughter, and someone who has learned more from the messy parts of life than I ever expected.
I’ve always loved nature, yoga, and moments of stillness, but it was navigating my own midlife shifts, especially perimenopause and a late self diagnosis of ADHD, which brought a deeper understanding of what supports me.
Some days that shows up in reflections from a walk in the woods; other days it’s noticing how the seasons affect mood and energy, or capturing a small insight that feels worth writing down.

A little more about me
Mindful & Me grew out of that ongoing exploration. It isn’t a place for quick fixes or rigid advice, but somewhere for thoughtful reflection, gentle reassurance, and honest conversation about how life changes, and what can help us feel more like ourselves again.
I don’t have everything figured out, and I never will. What I can offer is a companionable voice, shared experience, and a practical perspective shaped by navigating midlife, perimenopause, and everyday life as it unfolds.
Writing has become a way for me to make sense of these changes, not to fix or optimise, but to notice, reflect, and understand what helps. This space isn’t built on expertise or perfection, but on lived experience..
